Yori Nelken founded TimeBridge in 2005 to make life easier for busy people by bridging the best of the desktop with the rich experience of web services. In 1997, Yori founded Banter to help companies deal effectively with the explosion of email communication. Banter built award-winning CRM and contact center solutions that automated processes to improve productivity, cut costs, and empower customers and information workers. Now part of IBM, Banter's products deliver dramatic efficiency improvements in many Fortune 100 contact centers today, including Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Before founding Banter, Yori directed engineering for Octel Communications, where he pioneered the evolution of IVR development tools used for integrated e-commerce applications.

Yori has researched, designed and implemented expert systems to improve work flow and increase automation since the early 80s. He holds degrees in Business Administration and Computer Sciences from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

John Stormer has successfully launched leading-edge consumer services in long-distance telecom, digital wireless communications and high-speed Internet access at global corporations and early-stage start-ups in his 20-year career in marketing and operations. John was most recently SVP of worldwide marketing for Sendmail, a leader in enterprise email security and collaboration. Prior to Sendmail, John was VP of marketing at NorthPoint Communications, a national provider of DSL services, where he was responsible for expanding its network to 30 metropolitan markets, building a channel of more than 160 ISP partners and taking the company public in May 1999. Before NorthPoint, John was the first director of consumer marketing at SprintPCS, where he built its foundational marketing strategy. John also held several director positions at Sprint Corporation.

John received an M.B.A. from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in history and economics from Westminster College in Fulton, MO.

Yori Nelken, Founder and CEO

David Ladd, Managing Director, Mayfield

With his deep engineering experience and networking expertise, David Ladd serves as Mayfield's communications and VoIP expert. A successful former entrepreneur himself, David sits on the boards of LGC Wireless, LV Sensors, Orative, Pure Networks and Sylantro Systems, in addition to TimeBridge. After eight years as an early engineer at ROLM, he co-founded voice messaging company Opcom/VMX, which grew to a $100 million publicly held company. In 1994, VMX merged with Octel Communications and David became CTO. After Lucent Technologies acquired Octel in 1997, David joined Mayfield part-time while continuing to help Lucent form spin-out companies based on Bell Labs technology.

David holds a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics from U.C. Berkeley and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Venkat Mohan, General Partner, Norwest Venture Partners

Venkat Mohan joined Norwest Venture Partners in 2000 and brings more than 25 years of experience in company operations. His most recent investments and board seat appointments include The 41st Parameter, Clairmail, Global eXchange Services (GXS) and TimeBridge. Venkat was formerly a member of the board of directors of Crossweave (acquired by AmberPoint), and Softface (acquired by Ariba). He was a strategic advisor to Arbortext (acquired by Parametric Technology). Venkat joined Norwest Venture Partners in 2000. Formerly, he was president and chief operating officer at OnDisplay, a leading provider of business-to-business infrastructure software and services. He helped take the company public in 1999; it was then acquired by Vignette Corporation. Venkat has also served as vice president of global marketing and e-commerce at General Electric Information Services; president and COO at Cadis, a software start-up; executive vice president of marketing at VMX, a pioneer in voice processing; and CEO of WIPRO Systems. He also held a variety of marketing and management positions at Hewlett Packard, Young & Rubicam, and McKinsey.

Venkat was awarded an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was elected a Baker Scholar. He also holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and an M.S. in industrial and system engineering from the University of Florida.

Gary Griffiths

Gary Griffiths is a seasoned thirty-year veteran of the technology industry with extensive experience leading innovative companies to success. As president of products and operations at WebEx, he was responsible for all product strategy, research and development, and management, in addition to customer technical support, prior to WebEx's acquisition by Cisco. Before WebEx, Gary was the co-founder and CEO of on-demand desktop management company, Everdream, which was sold to Dell in 2007. Gary also co-founded and served as the CEO of SEGASoft Networks, a pioneer in interactive entertainment, which was later sold to Sega, and held senior management positions at IBM for over sixteen years.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Gary served aboard nuclear fast attack submarines, and was an associate professor of systems engineering at the US Naval Academy. He has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an M.S. in business administration from George Washington University. In addition to TimeBridge, Gary is on the board of directors of SGI International, iPass, and Simco Electronics, and is a member of Parthenon Capital’s Software Advisory Board.

Advisory Board

David Riemer

David Riemer, former Vice President of Marketing at Yahoo, is currently an advisor to emerging Internet and consumer technology companies and has spent the last decade developing and bringing great products to web users worldwide. While at Yahoo, David handled virtually all of Yahoo's product marketing while working with both the B2B and consumer sides of the business. In addition to Yahoo, David's expertise in the industry comes from extensive work with companies like the FeedRoom where he was CMO, Quokka Sports, and ad agency J Walter Thompson, where he was president.

David earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University and his M.B.A. at Columbia University.

Konstantin Guericke

Konstantin Guericke was most recently the CEO of jaxtr, a social communications start-up with over 10 million registered users that was sold to Sabse Technologies in 2009.Konstantin was the co-founder and VP of Marketing at LinkedIn, where he led the effort to educate users about how to advance their career and business through their trusted contacts on LinkedIn. Prior to LinkedIn, Konstantin served as VP of marketing at Presenter, where he led product management, product marketing and corporate marketing. Before Presenter, Konstantin was responsible for the initial public launch of social software pioneer Black Sun Interactive as VP of sales and marketing. Konstantin has also held other key leadership roles including EVP at Caligari and project director of publicly-traded Micrografx. At Beresford Partners, Konstantin helped the CEOs of over two dozen high-tech startups develop their positioning and marketing strategy.

Konstantin graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering.

Crick Waters

Crick Waters is a veteran of the technology and telecommunications industries. Currently he is the SVP of Strategy and Business Development and Ribbit Corporation, which he co-founded. Prior to starting Ribbit, Crick led the development and delivery of consumer voice and data services for AT&T Consumer Services, and served as Director of Value Added Services at NorthPoint Communications where he was responsible for creating services delivered over the company’s high speed data network. Crick has also held leadership positions at International Paper as well as Applied Process Technology, a Silicon Valley company, where he brought this company’s innovation in water treatment technology to market. He has served on the boards of directors of the DSL Forum and the International Packet Communications Consortium.

Before civilian life, Crick devoted seven years to developing nuclear reactor instrumentation and control technology for the U.S. Navy’s submarine, the U.S.S. Seawolf. He has B.S.E.E and M.B.A degrees from Duke University, and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering.

Mark Drummond

Mark Drummond has more than 20 years of experience with innovation, invention and value creation. As program manager at SRI International, he handled the $50 million Radar Project. Prior to joining SRI, Mark worked at the NASA Ames Research Center in the Computational Sciences Division at Ames Research Center, where he developed software for the Mars Science Lab mission. Mark was also the founder, chairman and CEO of Enviz, an e-business measurement and analysis software company. Before Enviz, Mark started Timedance, a web-based group scheduling and calendaring company. Mark also held positions at TYECIN Systems, and AI Applications Institute.

Mark has a Ph.D. in AI and Computing Science from Edinburgh University and a B.S. in Computing Science from University of Calgary.

Ellen Salisbury

Ellen Salisbury is the Managing Director of Cambridge West Ventures, a new small venture firm designed to make focused investments in emerging technology start-ups. She was previously the Vice President of Engineering and Operations at TimeBridge, where she integrated and managed the engineering, operations and support organizations in San Francisco and Israel.

Prior to joining TimeBridge, Ellen spent several years at Yahoo!, where she most recently served as director of Yahoo! Research Berkeley. She joined Yahoo! with the company's acquisition of Stata Labs, where she was senior vice president of products and services and most notably introduced new development processes to improve the organization's overall product quality and timely delivery. Ellen also served as the vice president of engineering at Brightmail and as vice president of data warehousing at Sybase, Inc. where she directed a team responsible for delivering leading edge, high quality products on time and driving partnerships with major technology vendors.

Ellen graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Humanities and attended the M.B.A. program at Loyola University of Chicago.
